Making National Youth Development Policy work to Youth Project facilitate 350 Youth’s ability from targeted wards (Kanyenye, Ipuli, Chemchem, Isevya, Kiloleni, Mbugani, Mtendeni, Cheyo, Kitete and Tambukareli) to explore opportunities in National Youth Development Policy-2007 for making self-development from July 2011 to June 2012. Also the project build Youth in the spirit of ownership to their family and community at large by making discussion about new Tanzanian Constitution. Then by doing that Youth will know their Rights and Responsibilities towards Families, Community and National level that directed/ be directed in the Tanzanian Constitution.
All issues raised by Youth at the end each forum collected and send to Tabora Municipal Director’s office as Youth contributions in New Tanzanian Constitution process.
The project implemented through Youth Forums, Community Mobilizations and Public Hearings. This taken in close partnership with LGAs, Youth Adviser and Youth.
Tabora Municipal Director’s office department of Youth Development the specific officer is a main directive-person to ensure the project sustainability and activities are implemented as planned.
The implementation of the project guided by the United Republic of Tanzania, National Development Policy (December 2007).
