CYAD is currently partincipating in the workshop organised by the foundation for civil society on the formulation and implementation of Logical Framework, Action Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation as well as projcect budgeting. The training is a week long one conducted in Dodoma. The two representatives of CYAD have been taking a leading role in the assignments provided by facilitators.

CYA & D held a week long workshop on the review of the 50 years of independence and how far Tanzania has gone as far as literacy and numeracy is concerned. Literacy and numeracy in Tanzania is commonly refered to as "kuandika, kusoma na kuhesabu" (kkk) the aproach used here involved collecting numerous retired teachers with a lot of experiences from across the country. It is highly interesting to see how much information you can collect from retired teachers. A group that is not only physically forgotten, but financially marginalised.
